International Supper

Our crusading has taken us to much of the known world and it is now our turn to welcome guests from home and abroad to the majesty of Leeds Town Hall.

A magnificent building opened by Queen Victoria in 1858, which you will enter through the colonnade of pillars fronting the Headrow, and where the superb Victoria Hall will be the stunning venue for the first major function of Conference 2008.

Supper will be preceded by a drinks reception at 7.30pm and entertainment will later be centred around the Conference HQ, The Queens Hotel on City Square. Get conference off to a fine start, great food in a marvellous venue with hundreds of fun-loving people. Champion.

Presidential Ball

Presidents Graham and Michelle welcome you to the Joint Presidents’ Ball in the newly built Savile’s Hall at The Royal Armouries.

The Armouries is the Northern resting place of some of the nation’s finest historical relics (like Sir Jimmy Savile after whom the Hall is named!!). Savile’s Hall completed in April 2007 is the City’s largest and most prestigious venue and will provide the perfect backdrop to a Ball to celebrate the efforts of the outgoing Presidents of Round Table and Ladies’ Circle.

Surrounded by reminders of our noble history and dressed in your finest court apparel (black tie) you will enjoy the most exquisite cuisine. Some of the area’s finest minstrels will then ensure that the entertainment goes far beyond the feasting providing musical accompaniment for you to dance the night away. Smashing.

Annual General Meeting

ROUND TABLE

Held in Savile’s Hall of the Royal Armouries, with its 1000 seating capacity, Knights of the Round Table can enjoy exciting banter and debate the future of our noble institution.

LADIES’ CIRCLE

Held in the Bury Theatre, with its 250 seating capacity, the Ladies of Circle can explore the issues of the day and vote their views into practice.

Saturday Night Feast

What better theme could you have than medieval pageantry for a fancy dress dinner and party? Dress outrageously, eat and drink well and then explode on to the dance floor to more great bands at the climax to the Conference 2008 weekend. Again held at Savile’s Hall of the Royal Armouries we promise you that this will be one of those historic evenings that you’ll remember forever! Grand.

Conference Golf

Join us at Howley Hall Golf Club, one of the regions top golf courses set on a plateau overlooking the Calder Valley, with stunning views of the Pennines. The play will be on generous fairways and large greens with superb putting surfaces.

The newly refurbished club house offers top class surroundings where you can relax for a drink or a meal and look out over the course and surrounding countryside.
